Drexel University LeBow Hall Tour

Join us for a review and tour of the Gerri C. LeBow Hall – a state of the art academic building for the Drexel University Bennett S.LeBow College of Business.

The 12-story building features a central atrium, 300-person auditorium, 100-person lecture hall, meeting spaces and seminar rooms.  With an area of 177,500 square feet, Gerri C. LeBow Hall has been awarded three Green Globes and is among the Financial Times' list of Business Schools' Statement Buildings.  DJVI performed as the engineering professional and full design and administration services were provided. The design process and building's unique features as they relate to the Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems will be featured.

Green Globes, the Practical Building Rating System is a revolutionary building environmental design and management tool. It delivers an online assessment protocol, rating system and guidance for green building design, operation and management. It is interactive, flexible and affordable, and provides market recognition of a building’s environmental attributes through third-party verification.

The building serves as the academic home to the College as well as a third-space for students – encouraging engagement and team work between students outside of the classroom. Featured within are 18 dedicated collaboration rooms each with a 65" LCD screen with laptop connections, 36 projectors, 91 LCD monitors and 50 virtual servers – establishing spaces for videoconferencing, distance learning and participation on a global level. A retail dining location comes in the form of a full-service Starbucks located on the first floor.
