In 2007, Montclair State University completed an energy audit and Energy Master Plan and is committed to move forward with several initiatives including, but not limited to, the CHP Partnership and other emission reductions. The new project will include a steam and chilled water distribution system throughout the main campus.
Join us on January 20, as speaker Andrew Larkin, Project Manager with Concord Engineering Group, discusses why Energy Master Planning is so important in today's economy. His presentation will arm facilility directors and energy managers with actionable information and highlight the impact the Energy Master Plan is having at MSU.
Speaker Bio:
Andrew Larkin, Project Manager with Concord Engineering Group, has over 20 years of experience in the Power industry with much of it focused in cogeneration. He spent 8 years as a Mechanical Engineer with Stone and Webster Engineering Corporation working on cogeneration projects, international Independent Power Plant projects (both as Mechanical Engineer and Owner's Engineer), fossil power plants and nuclear power plants. Mr. Larkin also worked 10 years with Trigen-Philadelphia Energy Corporation as a Project Engineer in the Marketing and Development group, and as a Plant Engineer and Maintenance Manager in the Operations and Maintenance group.
With Concord Engineering Group, Mr. Larkin has managed cogeneration projects for Montclair State University, UMDNJ, Marina Thermal Facility (Atlantic City), Ocean County College, Johnson and Johnson and South Jersey Transportation Authority (Atlantic City International Airport). |
