Discussion on US Energy Policy

The Kleinman Center on Energy Policy at the University of Pennsylvania opened in the fall of 2014.  The motivation for the center was the idea that, in the words of its benefactor Scott Kleinman, "As a nation, we do not have a clearly articulated energy policy that promotes economic growth, energy optimization, and technological development, all in the context of a sensible environmental backdrop."  The center focuses on issues ranging from energy security to climate change to wholesale energy markets and is quickly developing an international reputation as an ideas leader in energy policy.  Come join us to learn more about this new energy treasure in Philadelphia.

The Kleinman Center is located on the upper floors of the historic Fisher Fine Arts Library at the University of Pennsylvania.
220 S. 34th Street
Philadelphia, PA 19104

The nearest garage is at 34th and Chestnut (entrance on 34th). The closest intersection to the Center is 34th and Walnut Streets. See Penn's parking page for more information here.

The entrance is on the west side of the building, facing College Green. Our offices and the Energy Forum are located on the 4th Floor, at the top of the main staircase. The Kleinman Center classroom—Fisher Fine Arts Room 306—is located on the 3rd floor, around to the right of the stairs, through the double doors, and on the left at the end of the hallway.

PLEASE NOTE: There is no 2nd floor access via the building's main stairscase.
